Best selling author Ahmad Fuadi launched in Jakarta on Thursday his second novel, titled Ranah Tiga Warna (R3W) or the Land of Three Colors .
Ranah Tiga Warna is the second part of an envisioned trilogy, and follows the events of Negeri Lima Menara (N5M) or the Nation of Five Towers.
The original novel, which has sold more than 125,000 copies, tells the inspirational story of a modern Islamic boarding school student whose faith remains unshaken despite a seemingly endless string challenges that make it almost impossible for him to fulfill his dreams.
The sequel, which will be officially released on Jan. 23, introduces another moral message, namely “man shabara zhafira”, which means luck will come to those who wait. (saf)
